Derby, England, September 2025 — Barron McCann Limited has announced the appointment of Dee-Anne Fletcher (Was Slade) as its new Head of Talent Acquisition. With nearly two decades of experience in recruitment and talent management, Dee-Anne brings a proven ability to build talent strategies that drive growth across industries.
Dee-Anne joins Barron McCann after serving as Divisional Manager – HR & Marketing at Cherry Professional, where she led a team of specialist recruiters sourcing top HR and Marketing talent across the Midlands. In her time at Cherry Professional, she advanced through roles including Managing Consultant and Lead Consultant – HR, demonstrating strong expertise in executive recruitment, talent advisory, and client relationship management.
Earlier, Dee-Anne was the Director of DF Recruitment, working independently to deliver tailored recruitment solutions, and previously co-led Response Network Ltd, a firm she ran successfully for nine years. Her entrepreneurial approach allowed her to partner with businesses across the UK, providing bespoke recruitment campaigns and senior-level placements.
She also gained valuable early career experience with Key Personnel Solutions Ltd, Reed, and Adecco, where she built her foundation in staffing, talent acquisition, and workforce solutions.
In her new role, Dee-Anne will head up talent strategy across the Barron McCann Group of companies, including Barron McCann (Derby), Retail Assist (Nottingham), Precept HR and Employment Law (Derby), BMc Azzurri (Bolton), and Cyber First (Derbyshire). Looking ahead, she will also spearhead Precept Recruit, an exciting addition to the Group launching in early 2026.
