Bogotá, D.C., Capital District, Colombia, September 2025 – Apex America has appointed Diana Marcela Botello Cortes as its new Chief Operating Officer. In this role, she will be responsible for strengthening operations, enhancing customer experience delivery, and driving strategic growth initiatives across Latin America.
Most recently, Diana served as Senior Director of Operations at Teleperformance, where she spent nearly three years overseeing large-scale customer service, back office, sales operations, and collections processes in Colombia. Her focus was on building strong client relationships, leading high-performing teams, and executing strategic planning to deliver sustainable growth.
Before this, she worked as an Operations Manager at Teleperformance Group for over eight years, leading cross-selling operations in domestic markets. Earlier, she gained experience at Despegar.com as Gerente Crosselling, where she managed sales and customer service for non-airline travel packages, expanding cross-selling capabilities and strengthening customer engagement.
Her earlier leadership roles include serving as Director of Operations at Teleperformance, where she oversaw operations improvements and back-office functions, and as Coordinator of Operations at Multienlace S.A., where she managed campaigns for major clients including IBM, Casa Editorial El Tiempo, and Telemedic, ensuring compliance with performance indicators and client commitments.
With nearly two decades of professional experience, Diana has developed expertise in operations management, client relationship management, strategic planning, and sales leadership, consistently delivering measurable results across diverse sectors.
