Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, August 2025 — Don Anura De Alwis has been elevated to Chief Digital Growth Officer at Fortude. In this expanded mandate, he will steer digital growth and advisory, accelerate pre-sales for digital offerings, and drive sales operations excellence, positioning Fortude for scalable, market-aligned expansion across regions.
Within Fortude, Don Anura De Alwis most recently led as Senior Vice President – Digital Advisory (Global), offering fractional CIO services, guiding enterprise-wide digital transformations, and spearheading AI-led operating improvements—work that set the foundation for his elevation to the CGDO role.
Earlier at Fortude, he headed Regional Delivery and the Digital Transformation Practice for ANZ & Asia, shaping execution models, strengthening cross-regional delivery, and embedding repeatable playbooks for value realization across client portfolios.
Before Fortude, he held senior leadership roles including Chief Executive Officer at Pyxle and Chief Digital Economy Officer at the Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka, broadening his remit across strategy, governance, and national-scale digital change.
Previously, he led complex programs with organizations such as HP, Tabcorp, Oakton, Valista, and Virtusa, building deep expertise in program governance, data center consolidation, technology separation, and large-scale operating-model change.
In his early career, he co-founded and scaled tech ventures (Parcelhouse, Eurocenter) and held technical and consulting roles at Ernst & Young / MSL Computer Services and Informatics / Siemens-Nixdorf. He also nurtures the wider ecosystem through Talk The Walks, Leaderpreneur, and advisory/board engagements (e.g., Axila, Altria Consulting).
