Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, February 2026 — Nucleus Software has announced the appointment of Dr. Apurva Chamaria as its new Chief Business Officer (CBO). With strong experience in business growth and strategic leadership, he is expected to help drive the company’s global expansion and strengthen client partnerships, as Nucleus Software continues to deepen its presence across international banking and financial services markets.
Before joining Nucleus Software, Dr. Apurva Chamaria spent about four years with Google, most recently as Global Head of Venture Capital & Startup Partnerships, after joining as India Head for the same charter and later being elevated to the global role. In this capacity, he worked closely with venture capital firms, founders, and ecosystem stakeholders to accelerate high-impact partnerships and scale growth opportunities.
Alongside his corporate leadership journey, he has continued to contribute to the broader innovation ecosystem through multiple advisory and governance roles. For nearly four years, he has served on the Investment Committee – Venture Debt at SIDBI Venture Capital Ltd., participating in a committee constituted to review proposals under SIDBI’s venture debt support programme, in a personal capacity.
He also brings board-level exposure across fast-evolving sectors. Over the past two to three years, he has served as a Member of the Board of Directors at AVG Logistics Limited and previously served as a board member at Network People Services Technologies Ltd. (NPST). He is also a long-standing Charter Member at TiE Delhi-NCR, and has been recognized for his active engagement with founders and new-age businesses across SaaS, fintech, AI and emerging technology domains.
Earlier, Dr. Chamaria held senior leadership roles in technology and SaaS-driven growth. He served as Chief of Staff to the CEO & MD at Tech Mahindra, where he worked as a strategic thought partner to the CEO and helped drive enterprise-wide transformation programs spanning strategy, operating model alignment, governance systems, and cross-functional execution. He also served on boards in the Tech Mahindra ecosystem, including as a director for Tech Mahindra Defence Technologies Limited and BeGig.
In his prior corporate journey, he served as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at RateGain, leading integrated charter across strategy, sales, marketing, alliances and customer success to drive revenue growth and customer outcomes globally. He has also held global sales and marketing leadership roles at HCL Technologies, including as Global Head of Corporate Marketing, and earlier handled international responsibilities at Ranbaxy Laboratories. In addition, he is a best-selling author with published works including “You are the Key – Unlocking doors through Social Selling” and “Master Growth Hacking: The Best-Kept Secret of New-Age Indian Start-ups.”
Dr. Chamaria’s academic foundation includes a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, a Senior Executive Leadership Program (SELP) from Harvard Business School, and an MBA in Marketing & Strategy from IMI Delhi—bringing a rare blend of practitioner leadership and long-horizon strategic depth into his new CBO mandate.
