In this role, Duncan will oversee the company’s IT strategy, driving innovation and operational excellence across its extensive network of dealerships throughout the UK and Ireland.
Duncan Gray brings over three decades of leadership experience in IT and technology transformation. Before joining Lookers Motor Group Limited, he served as an Interim Technology Consultant, providing strategic insights and technology solutions. Prior to that, Duncan was self-employed, offering CIO advisory services across various industries.

During his six-year tenure as CIO at Premium Credit Ltd, Duncan managed IT operations for the UK and Ireland’s largest premium finance organization, lending over £5 billion annually. Earlier, he held the role of Group CIO at BCA Marketplace plc, where he led a team of over 360 IT professionals supporting Europe’s largest digital used-vehicle marketplace.
Duncan has also held significant IT leadership roles, including Group IT Director at Selfridges Group, IT Director at House of Fraser, and UK IT Director for Blockbuster Entertainment. His expertise spans multiple sectors, including retail, leisure, and financial services, with a proven track record of implementing transformative IT strategies.
