Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, United States, October 2025 — Cencora has announced the appointment of Elizabeth Garvison as Senior Director of HR Operational Excellence and Project Management. In this pivotal role, she will lead the organization’s HR operations strategy, focusing on process excellence, transformation, and driving global HR initiatives that strengthen business outcomes.
Elizabeth brings more than two decades of extensive HR leadership experience across global enterprises. Most recently, she served as Director of Global Human Resource Operations at Celanese, where she oversaw a global team of 57 employees supporting approximately 11,000 staff across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. At Celanese, she successfully transformed HR service delivery by implementing advanced systems including SuccessFactors and ServiceNow HRSD, optimizing processes, and delivering cost efficiencies of over $2 million.
Prior to that, Elizabeth was with Saint-Gobain, where she held multiple leadership positions over nearly nine years, including Director of Shared Services North America and Senior Manager of Transformation Enablement. Her work in transformation, change management, and HR operations was instrumental in strengthening HR service delivery across North America.
Earlier in her career, she held HR leadership roles at Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics, Prestige Care, Inc., and North Coast Electric, focusing on HR operations, benefits management, and organizational effectiveness. Her proven expertise spans HR transformation, organizational change, project management, people analytics, and global HR strategy, making her a valuable addition to Cencora’s leadership team.
