Austin, Texas, United States, January 2025 – Elyssa Welling has joined Self Financial, Inc. as Chief People Officer, bringing extensive expertise in human resources and organizational strategy. Elyssa expressed her enthusiasm for Self’s mission to help individuals achieve financial health and realize their life goals. She will spearhead initiatives focused on talent acquisition, development, and employee engagement to further strengthen the company’s culture and drive its vision of economic inclusion.
Elyssa previously held leadership roles at Olo, where she served as Chief of Staff and Senior Director of Revenue Operations for the Go-To-Market Team. She was instrumental in aligning strategic initiatives across a 300-member team, implementing business processes, and leading complex cross-functional projects. Before this, she was Senior Director, HR Business Partner for GTM, where she elevated HR initiatives and fostered employee engagement. Elyssa also served as Vice President of People at Wisely, where she developed transparent hiring processes, designed organizational frameworks, and scaled the workforce post-acquisition by Olo.
Earlier in her career, Elyssa was Head of Talent Acquisition and HR at AArete, where she led talent integration during mergers, developed career frameworks, and supported global workforce planning. Her tenure at Boston Consulting Group focused on campus recruiting, where she significantly expanded the talent pipeline.
