Gurugram, Haryana, India, October 2025 — Geeta Verma has joined KPMG as Director – Talent Acquisition, marking a significant addition to the firm’s leadership in human capital strategy. In her new role, she will lead the overall talent acquisition function for KPMG India, shaping recruitment strategies that align with the firm’s growth ambitions and future workforce priorities across its audit, tax, and advisory businesses.
Before joining KPMG, Geeta served as Director – Talent Acquisition at Optum (UnitedHealth Group), where she spent over 13 years driving the hiring strategy for the organization’s Technology Services and Product Engineering segments. Known for her hands-on leadership, she was instrumental in designing innovative talent frameworks, implementing digital recruitment solutions, and leading large-scale hiring programs across diverse technology functions. Her tenure at Optum reflects her commitment to building high-performing, purpose-driven teams and fostering an inclusive, agile work culture.
Earlier in her career, Geeta worked with Elixir Web Solutions for nearly six years, where she served as Manager – Human Resources (Talent Acquisition & Training and Development). She successfully managed recruitment operations, talent management initiatives, and training programs, building strong capabilities in end-to-end HR leadership. She was also deeply involved in employee engagement, rewards and recognition, and performance development, contributing to the company’s growth and talent retention initiatives.
Prior to that, she held roles in the telecom sector, where she worked as Assistant Manager – Human Resources, handling core HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, and payroll. This early exposure to a fast-paced, high-growth industry strengthened her understanding of workforce planning and people management, which continues to inform her leadership approach today.
