New York, United States, December 2025 — Glen Cary has been appointed Chief of Stores at Bed Bath & Beyond, returning to the brand he helped shape during previous leadership roles. With over 25 years of retail leadership experience, Cary will oversee store operations nationwide, bringing his signature operational discipline and people-first leadership to this next chapter under Beyond, Inc.
Cary rejoins Bed Bath & Beyond after his most recent role as Chief Stores Officer at buybuy BABY, where he led stores, human resources, and supply chain across the U.S. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer at 99 Cents Only Stores, driving major operational transformation across the discount retail chain in the Los Angeles area.
Earlier in his career, Cary held multiple senior leadership roles at buybuy BABY, where he rose through the ranks from Director of Stores to President and SVP General Manager, overseeing regional and national strategies for growth, store performance, and team development. His influence also extended to Bed Bath & Beyond during a transitional period, where he served as Interim Chief Stores Officer and led the brand’s store network.
Cary began his retail career with Target, where he spent six years as a District Manager across Arizona and Northern California. Known for his deep operational knowledge, collaborative leadership, and customer-first focus, Cary now leads a new phase of retail strategy and innovation at Bed Bath & Beyond.
