Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, July 2025 – Hanaa Alsomali has taken on a new role as Head of Human Resources at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB). In her new position, she will lead the strategic HR function for the bank’s operations in Saudi Arabia, focusing on talent acquisition, workforce planning, organizational culture, and leadership development.
Prior to joining ADCB, Hanaa spent nearly four years at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), where she most recently served as a Human Resources Business Partner. In this role, she was instrumental in aligning HR practices with business needs and driving employee engagement and performance across various business units.
Earlier, she worked as an HR Advisor at Credit Suisse, where she gained valuable exposure to global HR best practices and supported cross-border HR initiatives. She had also served in an earlier stint at FAB as Senior Officer, HR Business Partnering KSA, supporting regional talent strategies and workforce planning efforts.
Hanaa began her HR career with experiences across various reputable organizations in Saudi Arabia, including Ascott Rafal Olaya Riyadh, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, and Hyder Consulting, where she held roles in HR management, advisory, and coordination, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the HR function across industries.
