Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, January 2026 — Herin Shah has taken on a new role as Head – Investment at JioBlackRock Investment Advisers. In this position, he will lead the firm’s investment strategy and decision-making, overseeing portfolio construction, asset allocation, and risk management as the platform builds its presence in India’s investment advisory landscape.
Prior to this appointment, Herin Shah was associated with Invesco Asset Management (India) Private Limited for over six years, where he served as Fund Manager and Head – Multi Asset Allocation, Macro Research, and Credit Research. In this role, he led multi-asset investment strategies spanning equities, credit, structured finance, high yield, and distressed assets, supported by deep macro and credit research.
Before moving to India, he spent more than seven years with Invesco EMEA in London as an investment professional with an unconstrained global mandate, investing across the capital structure in equities, high yield, and distressed opportunities across public and private markets.
Earlier in his career, Herin Shah was with Goldman Sachs for nearly seven years as Executive Director – Credit Risk and Advisory, where he worked across complex credit risk management and advisory mandates, including structured products, derivatives, and ratings advisory for M&A and leveraged transactions.
He began his professional journey with KPMG US, gaining audit and advisory experience across banks, insurance companies, NBFCs, and asset management firms, with a strong focus on treasury operations and derivatives.
