With a proven global track record in accounting and finance leadership, Hiral brings extensive expertise in financial management, reporting, and strategic planning to her new role.
At Pep Boys, she will be responsible for strengthening financial governance, driving operational excellence, and enabling sustainable growth through robust accounting systems and strategic decision support. Her appointment marks a key addition to the company’s leadership team as it continues its transformation journey across North America.
Before joining Pep Boys, Hiral served as Vice President – Controller at IKEA, where she led financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency initiatives across U.S. operations. Her work played a pivotal role in aligning financial strategy with the company’s global expansion goals.
Prior to IKEA, Hiral spent nearly four years at Verifone, holding dual leadership roles as Senior Director of Accounting – Assistant Controller and later as Assistant Controller, overseeing financial reporting and internal controls for global markets. Her ability to balance financial precision with business insight was instrumental in driving Verifone’s fiscal transformation efforts.
Earlier in her career, Hiral spent nearly nine years at EY as an Assurance Senior Manager, where she managed audit engagements for major clients across sectors and developed deep expertise in regulatory compliance and accounting standards. She began her professional journey as a Financial Reporting Intern at AmerisourceBergen, gaining early exposure to large-scale financial operations.
