Lisbon, Portugal, September 2025 – Sensei has appointed Inês Serra as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In her role, Serra will oversee the financial strategy, capital planning, and fiscal management of the company as it continues to scale its AI-powered checkout-free retail solutions across global markets.
Before joining Sensei, Serra spent three years at PJT Partners in London, where she advanced to Director after initially serving as Vice President. At PJT Partners, she played a key role in advising clients on complex financial transactions and strategy within the investment banking space.
Previously, Serra had an extensive nine-year career at Morgan Stanley, where she rose through multiple roles. She served as Vice President in Healthcare investment banking in both London and New York, and earlier as an Investment Banking Associate in healthcare.
She also worked in the Natural Resources Group, Oil & Gas Team as an Investment Banking Analyst, and earlier in her career was an EM FX Forwards Trader, covering CE3, South Africa, and Israel. Serra first joined the firm as a Sales and Trading Summer Analyst, gaining exposure to FX and interest rate products.
Her long tenure at Morgan Stanley equipped her with broad expertise across healthcare, natural resources, and trading markets, laying a strong foundation for her transition into senior financial leadership roles.
