Gurugram, Haryana, India, March 2026 — Jagpreet Singh has started his new role as General Manager at Samsung Electronics, marking a significant milestone in his 13-year journey with the global technology leader.
In his new position at Samsung Electronics, Jagpreet will take on broader leadership responsibilities within the Global Audits function, building on his deep expertise in forensic audits, fraud investigations, and internal controls. His elevation reflects a strong track record in strengthening governance frameworks, managing complex investigations, and driving operational excellence across the organization.
Prior to this appointment, Jagpreet served as Deputy General Manager (Forensic Audit) at Samsung Electronics from 2022 to 2026, where he led high-impact forensic reviews and global audit initiatives. Earlier, as Senior Manager (Forensic Audit), he played a critical role in auditing, fraud risk assessments, and strengthening internal control mechanisms across business units.
Before joining Samsung, Jagpreet worked with Aditya Birla Group in Internal Audit (Telecom), where he independently conducted complex audit projects, evaluated internal controls, and led confidential fraud investigations. His earlier experience includes audit leadership at Tata Communications, where he managed Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, fraud risk assessments, and process control evaluations, and foundational training as an Articled Assistant at AKG & Co., handling statutory and internal audits.
With nearly two decades of experience in audit, risk management, compliance, and forensic investigations, Jagpreet Singh brings strong financial governance and internal control expertise to his expanded leadership role at Samsung Electronics.
