Cleveland, Ohio, United States, November 2025 – Pharmacy Data Management, Inc. (PDMI) has announced the appointment of Jajati Samal as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). In this pivotal leadership role, Jajati will be responsible for advancing PDMI’s cybersecurity strategy, governance, and risk management frameworks to safeguard client data and ensure compliance across all pharmacy benefit management operations.
Before joining PDMI, Jajati Samal served as Director, Cybersecurity at Bristol Myers Squibb, where he played a key role in fortifying enterprise-wide cybersecurity infrastructure and leading initiatives that enhanced global information protection standards. His leadership contributed to stronger cyber resilience across multiple business units and functions.
Prior to that, Jajati worked at Johnson & Johnson as Global Information Security Officer & Architect, followed by his role as Global Manager, Security Architecture and Strategy at Janssen Pharmaceuticals, part of the Johnson & Johnson family. He was instrumental in developing enterprise security architecture, cyber risk management frameworks, and cloud and mobile security systems, aligning them with the company’s global operations.
Earlier in his career, Jajati gained extensive cybersecurity expertise at Morgan Stanley, Bed Bath & Beyond, and KPMG US, where he led large-scale projects in identity management, application security, vulnerability management, and authentication systems. His career began with software development roles at DataLinx Corp, Ascent Computing Inc, and Telesoft.AI, where he built a strong technical foundation that later evolved into a strategic cybersecurity leadership trajectory.
