Bangkok, Thailand, January 2026 – Black & Veatch has announced the appointment of Jerin Raj as Managing Director and Head of APAC & India. With more than two decades of experience across the Asia–Pacific region and a proven track record as APAC Deputy Head, Jerin brings deep technical expertise and an inspiring leadership style that energizes teams and clients alike.
“This moment marks an exciting next chapter for Black & Veatch in APAC. The region is moving fast — accelerating investment, embracing innovation, and seeking partners who can help deliver resilient, sustainable infrastructure at scale,” the company noted while welcoming Jerin to the expanded mandate.
Jerin Raj has been part of Black & Veatch for nearly five years, holding a series of progressively larger leadership roles across Asia–Pacific. Most recently, he served as Managing Director – Asia Pacific through 2025, while also leading as India Country Director and APAC Regional Sales Leader. In early 2026, he assumed the role of Senior Vice President & Managing Director for APAC & India, based in Bangkok, overseeing the company’s integrated strategy across energy, connectivity, decarbonization, and critical infrastructure.
Between 2022 and 2024, Jerin served as Director – South East Asia and later as Director – South & Southeast Asia, Taiwan, where he held full P&L responsibility for Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar across Black & Veatch’s technology portfolio. He also led APAC Grid Solutions, strengthening the company’s presence in transmission and distribution modernization.
Prior to joining Black & Veatch, Jerin spent more than 14 years with KEC International Ltd., part of the RPG Group. He held several regional leadership positions including Profit Center Head – East Asia Pacific, Regional Manager – South East Asia, and Country Head for both Thailand and the Philippines. His tenure was marked by significant order book growth across Laos, Indonesia, and the Philippines, and by spearheading business transformation initiatives as a member of KEC’s Young Executive Board.
Jerin began his career with Reliance Industries and earlier engineering roles in India, building a strong technical foundation in asset management, project execution, and operations before transitioning into regional leadership across ASEAN markets.
Jerin Raj holds a Master of Science in Major Programme Management from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford (2018–2020) and a PGDM in Operations & Marketing from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode (2005–2007).
