Zurich, Switzerland, October 2025 — TE Connectivity has announced the appointment of Joke Van Acker as Vice President Human Resources – Industrial, Automation & Electrification (IAE). In her new role, Joke will focus on driving business growth, advancing cultural transformation, and strengthening the OneHR Team spirit across the IAE division.
Joke transitions into this role after a successful tenure as Vice President Human Resources – Industrial & Commercial Transportation (ICT) at TE Connectivity, where she partnered closely with business leaders to build strong foundations in talent growth, culture, and inclusion. During this period, she also spearheaded global HR initiatives that supported the company’s long-term strategy and people agenda.
She first joined TE Connectivity in 2015 and steadily progressed through multiple leadership positions, including Senior Director Human Resources – ICT, where she managed global HR functions across the US, Mexico, Slovakia, Germany, UK, Netherlands, Morocco, China, and India. Her leadership in these roles has been marked by her ability to deliver impactful HR strategies and foster organizational resilience across diverse geographies.
Before TE Connectivity, Joke spent more than 15 years at Gemalto (now part of Thales), holding roles such as Global Head of HR and HR Director – Machine to Machine, where she successfully led HR integrations across multiple acquisitions, drove culture alignment initiatives, and managed global HR operations spanning over 25 locations. She began her career with Hewlett-Packard and Gemplus SA, gaining early experience in recruitment, labor law, and payroll management.
Her new appointment reflects TE Connectivity’s commitment to aligning people strategy with business transformation, innovation, and sustainable growth in the Industrial, Automation & Electrification segment.
