Fredericksburg, Virginia, United States, November 2025 — Julianne MacDonald has stepped into the role of Vice President, Talent Acquisition Consultant II – Executive Recruiter at Bank of America Private Bank, marking a significant advancement in her long-standing career in talent acquisition and financial services. In this elevated role, MacDonald will focus on executive-level recruitment for the Private Bank, supporting the institution’s efforts to attract and hire top-tier leadership talent.
MacDonald’s new appointment builds on more than one year of contributions within Bank of America Private Bank, where she previously served as Vice President – Talent Acquisition Consultant. In this capacity, she supported Private Bank hiring strategies and deepened her expertise in sourcing specialized and executive-level talent across the wealth management ecosystem.
Prior to this, MacDonald spent nearly eleven years at Bank of America, where she held several key roles. As Vice President, Talent Acquisition Consultant – Team Lead for the East Preferred Division, she led high-performing recruiting teams and strengthened hiring strategies across multiple markets. She also served for approximately seven years as Talent Acquisition Consultant, driving full-cycle recruitment and supporting complex hiring needs across various business units.
Before her tenure in talent acquisition, MacDonald spent about four years as Financial Center Manager, where she led branch operations, managed profit and loss responsibilities, coached teams, and contributed to significant portfolio growth in consumer and business banking. Her leadership led to sustained improvements in loans, deposits, and customer engagement.
Earlier in her career, MacDonald served as Assistant Vice President at StellarOne Bank, contributing to branch performance and strengthening customer financial advisory outcomes. Prior to this, she built foundational banking experience at BB&T across nearly six years, progressing through roles including Financial Center Leader, Loan Officer, Small Business Advisor, Relationship Banker, and Teller. These roles equipped her with deep knowledge of banking operations, client engagement, revenue growth, financial advisory practices, and customer service excellence.
