Montreal, Quebec, Canada – October 2024 – Julie Lavergne has taken on the role of Vice President Human Resources at Balcan Innovations Inc., where she will lead strategic HR initiatives to support the company’s cultural transformation. In this new position, Julie will manage a team of 11 HR professionals across multiple locations in Canada and the United States, supporting a workforce of 1,500 employees. Her focus will be on driving HR strategy that enhances operational efficiency and promotes an engaging work environment.
Before joining Balcan Innovations Inc., Julie served as the Director of Human Resources Operations for more than two years, overseeing HR functions and team management. During her time at Ampak Group Inc., she held the role of National Human Resources Director, managing HR and payroll for six manufacturing facilities across Canada. Her contributions included driving HR initiatives for over 350 employees in various locations.
Julie’s entrepreneurial experience includes leading Lavergne Groupe Conseil inc. for nearly 17 years, where she specialized in recruitment and personnel placement. Her earlier roles include serving as Human Resources Director at Pretium Packaging and working as a Human Resources Consultant at Montupet.
