Singapore, Singapore, October 2025 – Meta has announced the appointment of Juseleen Jalil as HR Director, APAC, marking a significant milestone in her distinguished career spanning over two decades across leading global organizations. In her new role, Juseleen will lead the company’s human resources strategy and operations across the Asia-Pacific region, driving Meta’s mission to empower human connection through innovation, inclusion, and transformative people practices.
Before joining Meta, Juseleen spent nearly five years at Galderma as Head of HR for the JPAC Region, where she spearheaded HR strategies across 14 countries, including China, Japan, India, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Southeast Asia, and ANZ. Working closely with the JPAC Region President and senior leadership, she aligned HR initiatives with business goals to enhance organizational agility and delivered a 15% increase in operational efficiency over three years.
Earlier, she served as Regional HR Director at Astellas Pharma, where she led HR for South East and South Asia, introducing world-class HR practices and nurturing HR leadership capabilities across the region. Her strategic interventions strengthened regional alignment and contributed to a cohesive, high-performing workforce.
Prior to that, Juseleen held a pivotal role at BHP, serving as HR Business Partner – Global Commercial & Asia Finance and External Affairs, where she led a team of HRBPs supporting global business leaders and enabling people strategies that reinforced organizational performance across diverse markets.
Juseleen spent more than nine years with Johnson & Johnson, taking on multiple leadership roles, including Head of HR for Singapore & Regional Business Units, HR Senior Manager for Asia Pacific Vision Care & Consumer R&D, and HR Senior Manager for Asia Pacific Pharmaceuticals. Her long tenure at J&J was marked by developing global HR frameworks and advancing talent initiatives across the Asia Pacific.
Earlier in her career, she worked with Freescale Semiconductor as Talent Acquisition & IBHR Manager, Accenture as Recruitment Specialist, and Fibrecomm Network (M) Sdn Bhd as HR Executive, where she laid the foundation of her expertise in HR strategy, talent management, and business partnership.
