Boston, Massachusetts, United States, November 2025 – ModMed, a leading innovator in healthcare technology, has appointed Justin Steinman as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). In his new role, Justin will lead all aspects of marketing and external communication—including product marketing, demand generation, brand strategy, and customer engagement—driving ModMed’s mission to empower medical practices with advanced cloud, data, and AI solutions.
Justin brings over 25 years of marketing and product leadership experience across healthcare, technology, and SaaS sectors. Prior to joining ModMed, he served as Chief Marketing Officer at Ensora Health, a KKR-backed healthcare SaaS company, where he led the successful rebranding of Therapy Brands into Ensora Health. Under his leadership, the company unified multiple acquisitions, built an enterprise-class marketing organization, and implemented AI-enabled strategies that improved conversion rates, optimized customer acquisition costs, and strengthened market positioning.
Before his tenure at Ensora Health, Justin served as Chief Marketing Officer at Definitive Healthcare (Nasdaq: DH), where he played a pivotal role in the company’s $483M IPO. His leadership drove a complete brand evolution, quadrupled marketing-generated leads, and delivered over $6 in revenue per $1 of marketing spend. He also hosted the award-winning “Definitively Speaking” podcast, known for its data-driven insights into the business of healthcare.
Earlier, Justin held several leadership roles at Aetna, a CVS Health Company, including Vice President & Head of Product and Solutions Management. He spearheaded innovation in value-based healthcare products, leading a team of 250 and managing a $50M product development budget. He launched multiple high-impact solutions—including no-cost access to MinuteClinic, new plan designs, and virtual primary care offerings—that contributed to over $100M in new revenue in their first year.
Before Aetna, Justin spent nearly a decade at GE Healthcare, where he held various roles including Chief Marketing Officer, GE Healthcare Digital, overseeing marketing for a $1.8B business unit. He was recognized with the CEO Award for Cross-Functional Collaboration for his work in driving demand generation and marketing excellence across global markets. His earlier career includes leadership positions at Novell, Accenture, and Tilion, where he developed foundational expertise in product marketing and business strategy.
