Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States, February 2025 – Kaila Amirault has been named Associate Director, Human Resources at Amylyx Pharmaceuticals, where she will drive key HR initiatives, enhance talent strategies, and lead workforce development efforts. With deep expertise in HR operations, talent acquisition, and benefits administration, Kaila will play a crucial role in supporting Amylyx’s mission to develop innovative therapies for communities with high unmet medical needs.
Before assuming this role, Kaila Amirault served as Lead, Human Resources and Talent Operations at Amylyx Pharmaceuticals, where she managed HR processes, benefits administration, and talent initiatives to foster an engaging and high-performance culture.
Previously, she worked as Lead, Talent Acquisition at Amylyx Pharmaceuticals, overseeing full-cycle recruitment strategies, applicant tracking systems, and talent development. Her leadership in scaling hiring processes significantly contributed to the company’s growth.
Prior to Amylyx, Kaila held key roles at Deciphera Pharmaceuticals, where she worked as a Recruiting Partner and Talent Acquisition Consultant, supporting R&D and G&A functions by streamlining hiring strategies and providing strategic recruitment insights.
Her earlier career includes experience as a Talent Manager at a-connect, where she led staffing initiatives in the life sciences industry and managed university recruitment programs. Additionally, she served in multiple recruitment leadership roles at PharmaLogics Recruiting, where she successfully placed candidates, trained recruiters, and enhanced recruitment processes for biotech and pharmaceutical clients.
Kaila holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology from Union College, which has provided her with a strong foundation in people management and organizational behavior.
