Hyderabad, India, December 2025 — Kamesh Chaganti has stepped into the role of Head HR – South (India Business) at Suzlon Group, marking a return to operational HR leadership after nearly two decades in strategic global HR roles. His appointment reflects Suzlon’s continued focus on strengthening its people function to match the scale and sustainability goals of India’s leading renewable energy solutions provider.
Before joining Suzlon, Kamesh served as Principal Consultant at KinnectHR, where he advised organizations on talent management, HR transformation, and leadership development. Prior to that, he spent over 14 years at Zee Entertainment, rising to Senior Vice President – Global HR, overseeing HR for international operations across MENAPT & APAC, and supporting the launch of multiple new verticals, including Big FM and TEN Sports.
Kamesh’s HR journey spans from early roles in talent acquisition and onboarding to senior leadership positions guiding compensation strategy, compliance, global talent management, and culture transformation. With an MBA in HR & Marketing from Delhi University and over two decades of industry-spanning experience—media, tech, and consulting—his expertise is both broad and deep.
At Suzlon, he now leads HR for its Southern India business at a pivotal time when India’s renewable energy sector is growing rapidly. His mission will focus on strengthening workforce capabilities, driving cultural alignment, and ensuring agile HR delivery across Suzlon’s wind energy projects and operations in the region.
