Gurgaon, Haryana, India, July 2025 — William Grant & Sons has announced the appointment of Kartik Mohindra as the new Managing Director – India, effective 30th September 2025. Kartik brings with him over 26 years of leadership experience across sales, marketing, and strategic business development in the alcobev industry.
Prior to joining William Grant & Sons, Kartik had a distinguished career at Pernod Ricard India where he spent nearly 22 years, most recently serving as Chief Marketing Officer and Head – Global Business Development. He was instrumental in driving the brand success and business expansion of globally celebrated names like Chivas Regal, Absolut, The Glenlivet, and Royal Stag, among others. His tenure included strategic roles such as Profit Centre Head – North Zone and Business Head – International Brands for the Indian subcontinent.
Before Pernod Ricard, Kartik served as Senior Brand Manager at United Spirits Limited, where he gained foundational marketing expertise that shaped his early leadership journey in the beverage industry.
Kartik holds an MBA in Marketing from Thames Valley University, London, and completed his early education at St. Columba’s.
In his new role, Kartik will lead William Grant & Sons’ India operations, focusing on strategic growth, premium brand building, and strengthening the company’s presence in one of the world’s most dynamic spirits markets.
