Dallas, Texas, United States, September 2025 – Specialized, a nationally recognized leader in loss prevention and integrated security systems, has announced the appointment of Kelly Harris as its Chief People Officer. In her new role, Kelly will lead Specialized’s people strategy, focusing on empowering a purpose-driven workforce, advancing leadership capability, and strengthening organizational alignment across its family of brands.
Kelly brings over three decades of HR leadership experience, spanning global enterprises and high-growth service organizations. She joins Specialized after serving as Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer at Metro One LPSG, where she led workforce management, learning and development, performance management, and nationwide recruitment initiatives. Her efforts helped strengthen employee engagement and operational excellence across the company’s national footprint.
Alongside her corporate leadership, Kelly has been an Adjunct Professor at Tarrant County College since 2020, where she teaches Human Resources certification programs and courses on Training, Development, and Employment Law, mentoring the next generation of HR professionals.
Earlier, Kelly served as SVP & Chief People and Administrative Officer at Brinks Home, where she led all HR centers of excellence, including talent management, compensation and benefits, employee communications, and inclusion programs. Her leadership was instrumental in driving a people-centric culture that enhanced engagement and performance outcomes.
Before Brinks, she held senior HR leadership roles at ADT, where she developed pay-for-performance compensation strategies and implemented workforce transformation projects across customer care operations. Kelly began her distinguished 23-year tenure with JCPenney, progressing through multiple roles including Regional Senior Talent Director, Director of Store Employee & Labor Relations, and Director of HR Support Center, where she supported more than 35,000 employees across 18 states. Her early career was marked by operational excellence, labor relations leadership, and organizational design initiatives that shaped HR best practices across the retail landscape.
Kelly holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from the University of Phoenix, underscoring her lifelong commitment to advancing people strategy and business impact.
