Helsinki, Finland, November 2025 — Elisa Corporation, a leading telecommunications and digital services company, has announced the appointment of Kristian Pullola as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In his new role, Kristian will oversee Elisa’s global financial operations, capital management, and strategic financial planning as the company continues its digital transformation and expansion across Finland, Estonia, and over 100 international markets.
Before joining Elisa, Kristian Pullola served as Chief Financial Officer at Finnair, where he steered the company’s financial strategy during a period marked by industry transformation and post-pandemic recovery. At Finnair, he played a crucial role in optimizing cost structures, enhancing financial resilience, and driving shareholder value.
Earlier, Kristian built a remarkable 21-year career at Nokia, where he held several key leadership roles including Executive Vice President and CFO, overseeing all financial matters of the global technology giant. He led functions such as corporate finance, investor relations, M&A, risk management, and transformation projects following the Alcatel-Lucent integration. As Senior Vice President, Corporate Controller, he was instrumental in implementing financial discipline and structural transformation during Nokia’s significant business transitions.
Prior to his CFO tenure, Kristian served as Head of Treasury and Investor Relations, where he managed global treasury operations, financial risk mitigation, and investor communications. His earlier Nokia roles included corporate finance, treasury accounting, and balance sheet management in Espoo and Geneva, showcasing his deep financial expertise across complex international environments.
Kristian began his professional journey as a Financial Analyst at Interbank Osakepankki, followed by a role as Associate, Corporate Banking at Citibank International, where he gained early experience in financial markets, credit analysis, and client relationship management.
Alongside his executive career, Kristian has held several Board and Audit Committee Chair positions at organizations such as Terveystalo, Kemira, Eduhouse, and Ilmarinen, and currently serves as Board Member at FinanceKey and Founder & CEO of Ab Palatus Oy. These governance roles underscore his broad financial acumen and commitment to corporate stewardship and strategic oversight.
