Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia, March 2025 – Laura Boyd has been promoted to Group Head of People & Culture at IRT Group, one of Australia’s largest not-for-profit aged care providers. In her elevated role, Laura will lead the people strategy for over 2,500 employees, focusing on talent acquisition, engagement, leadership development, rewards, and organizational culture across IRT’s retirement living, home care, and residential aged care services.
Laura joined IRT Group in August 2023 as Manager, Talent Management, where she led a team of eight overseeing recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, and people operations. Her strategic leadership and operational capabilities quickly made her a vital asset to the organization.
Prior to IRT, Laura served as Head of Talent at Mable, a PE-backed healthtech marketplace, for nearly two years. She reported directly to the CEO, leading employer branding, talent strategy, onboarding, engagement, and DEIB initiatives that shaped employee and candidate experiences.
Before Mable, she held the role of Manager, People & Talent, where she implemented HR tech systems, revamped policies, and drove 100% headcount growth in her first year—underscoring her ability to scale HR operations in high-growth environments.
Earlier, Laura held senior talent roles at BCG Digital Ventures (now BCG X), Lendlease, Aquent Talent, and Randstad Australia, accumulating over two decades of deep expertise in talent acquisition and people operations across startups, corporates, and the public sector.
