Boston, MA, United States, December 2025 — Lauren Chesney has been appointed Director, Human Capital Business Partner at KKR — bringing nearly two decades of diverse human resources experience to the firm. In her new role, Chesney will lead Human Capital strategy for Global Operations and the Boston Office, contributing to KKR’s continued focus on talent-driven performance across its global platforms.
Before joining KKR in December 2025, Chesney spent over eight years with SLC Management, where she most recently held the role of Managing Director, Human Resources. In this leadership position, she was instrumental in driving enterprise-wide HR initiatives, partnering with senior executives to align people strategy with business outcomes, and supporting organizational transformation across global investment operations.
Prior to SLC, Chesney held multiple HR roles at Sun Life Financial, including Director of HR Strategic Initiatives and HR Business Partner, where she focused on aligning HR practices with strategic business priorities. Earlier in her career, she developed deep business partnering expertise at leading institutions such as OMERS, CIBC, and Primus Telecommunications, where she led initiatives spanning organizational design, talent development, and workforce planning.
Chesney began her career in editorial and communications roles before transitioning to HR, leveraging a strong foundation in communication and analytics. She is widely recognized for her ability to navigate complex environments with empathy, insight, and strategic acumen — qualities that align with KKR’s people-first approach to leadership.
