Tampa, Florida, United States, April 2025 – Liane Cole has taken on a new leadership role as Vice President, Talent and DEI at Syniverse, marking a significant milestone in her accomplished career in talent development and organizational leadership. In this strategic role, Liane will lead Syniverse’s global talent strategy and diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, reinforcing the company’s mission to foster an inclusive and high-performance culture across its worldwide operations.
Liane’s journey at Syniverse began in March 2022, when she joined as Senior Director, Talent Development, where she played a pivotal role in building robust leadership pipelines, deploying learning strategies, and advancing workforce development. Her impact in talent transformation set the stage for her promotion to the VP role.

Before joining Syniverse, Liane was Director of Learning and Development at PODS, where she focused on aligning development programs with business needs. Prior to that, she served nearly four years at Sykes Enterprises as Director, Talent Management & Leadership Development, driving impactful initiatives in employee engagement, DEI training for 550 leaders, performance management, and succession planning. Her leadership led to measurable gains in talent calibration and high-potential development.
Earlier, Liane held the position of Leadership Development Training Manager at Bloomin’ Brands, where she spearheaded enterprise-wide learning strategies, launched high-potential programs, and influenced senior leaders to champion development initiatives. She also spent nearly a decade at Morgan Stanley in various HR and talent leadership roles, leading global learning initiatives, performance management strategy, and DEI integration for leadership pipelines.
