Palo Alto, California, United States, December 2025 — Lorie Boyd has been appointed as Chief People Officer at Plume, where she will lead the company’s global people strategy to support workforce growth, organizational development, and long-term scalability.
In her new role, Boyd will oversee talent acquisition, employee experience, leadership development, learning programs, and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, which remain central to Plume’s mission as it continues to expand its global footprint. Her appointment reflects Plume’s continued emphasis on building a people-first culture aligned with innovation, performance, and sustainable growth.

Prior to Turo, Boyd held senior people leadership roles across high-growth technology companies, including Vice President of People at Kahuna and Vice President of People at Womply, where she built and scaled people operations functions, led employer branding initiatives, and supported business expansion through robust talent frameworks.
Earlier in her career, she held leadership and senior roles across a diverse set of global and institutional organizations, including Zendesk, Deem, Inc., Salesforce, Oracle Corporation, PwC, and Stanford University. These experiences provided her with deep exposure to enterprise HR, recruiting at scale, organizational design, and leadership development across both public and private sector environments.
