Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States, July 2025 – Lynsey Davis has been appointed as the Executive Director of Human Resources at Amphenol, a global Fortune 500 electronics manufacturer. In her new role, Lynsey will oversee human capital strategies across Amphenol’s operations, driving workforce optimization, talent development, and organizational effectiveness on a global scale.
Prior to joining Amphenol, Lynsey Davis served for nearly two years as the Director of Human Resources at Challenge Manufacturing. In this role, she led a team of 32 HR professionals across 12 manufacturing sites, managing HR operations for more than 4,000 employees nationwide. Her achievements included transforming the HR function into a regional model, significantly reducing attrition, implementing a new performance management framework, and supporting the launch of a new plant in Spartanburg, SC. She also played a key role in labor negotiations and spearheaded multiple cultural and engagement initiatives.
Before that, Lynsey spent over three years at Amazon, where she held various HR leadership roles. As a Senior Regional Human Resources Business Partner, she supported over 650 salaried leaders across the Americas and Europe. She led a global job alignment initiative that drove $6.5M in business impact and created performance and promotion frameworks that enhanced career progression. She also served as Site Senior HRBP and Site HRBP, supporting multi-site operations, leading regional talent reviews, and driving hiring excellence as a certified Bar Raiser.
Earlier in her career, Lynsey gained global experience at GE Aviation over four years in progressively senior HR roles, including Global Human Resources Manager. She supported military operations teams in 25+ countries, led workforce transformation projects, and enhanced leadership pipelines through strategic talent planning. Her time at GE also included contributions to leadership development, DEI, and Workday implementation.
Lynsey began her career in HR through foundational roles at organizations including Covenant Village of the Great Lakes, Aramark, and The Mosaic Company, and has developed expertise across employee relations, labor negotiations, compliance, and workforce communications.
