Cairo, Egypt, April 2025 – Mahitab Saleh has been appointed as Head of People & Culture – Trade Sector at Edita Food Industries, a leading baked food products manufacturer in the MENA region. In her new role, Mahitab will lead the people strategy for the company’s expansive trade sector, focusing on organizational development, performance culture, and talent enhancement initiatives.
Prior to joining Edita, Mahitab Saleh worked as a Strategic HR Transformation Consultant, where she supported organizations with customized talent solutions, HR strategy, and sustainability consulting. This followed her impactful tenure at Agthia Group, where she served as Head of HR Egypt and earlier as Regional Human Resources Senior Manager – MENAT. Over nearly four years at Agthia, she led transformation projects, organizational design, succession planning, and employee engagement programs across international operations.
Before that, Mahitab held a pivotal role at Kuwait Food Company (Americana) as Human Resources Organization Development Senior Manager, overseeing HR strategy, policy formation, and performance systems across Egypt and the GCC. She was instrumental in introducing structured organizational design using HAY methodologies and building employee engagement across multiple sites.
Her earlier experiences include key leadership positions at Savola Group as Regional HR Development Manager Egypt & NA, where she led regional talent acquisition, job evaluation, and employee communication strategies. Additionally, she worked with Scimitar Production Egypt, Prosoft Information Systems, and began her HR journey at Royal Bank of Scotland, acquiring a solid foundation in HR operations, performance management, and career development initiatives.
