Greater Stavanger Region, Norway, July 2025 — Maren Brun has taken on the role of Vice President Human Resources at Odfjell Technology, marking a new chapter in her distinguished HR career. In this role, she will lead strategic HR initiatives and partnerships, continuing her focus on driving organizational growth through inclusive, performance-oriented people strategies.
Maren has been a key contributor to Odfjell Technology’s success, having previously served as Global HR Manager since 2022. During this tenure, she played a vital role in aligning HR with business goals, managing improvement processes from design to execution, and promoting cultural adaptability in international environments. Her leadership has been instrumental in creating sustainable high-performance teams while ensuring compliance with global standards.
Before the demerger from Odfjell Drilling, Maren held multiple leadership roles within the parent organization, including Global HR Manager, HR Advisor, and HR Specialist – Leadership Development & Performance Management. Her tenure was defined by transformative initiatives such as the YET (Your Expanding Talent) program, digitization of HR processes, and implementation of performance management systems across the enterprise.
Maren began her career as a Human Resources Intern at Teekay Shipping, followed by board-level contributions at Rogaland Personalforum, where she championed professional growth within the HR community. She holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Middlesex University, UK, and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Human Resource Management from the University of Stavanger.
