London, England, United Kingdom, December 2025 – Mark Sherwin has stepped into a new leadership role as Managing Director – Global Client Account Lead (GCAL) at Accenture, one of the world’s leading professional services companies. In this role, he will work closely with a major global client across consumer goods, healthcare, and home hygiene segments, driving business reinvention through AI, data, technology, and human insight.
Sherwin’s remit includes accelerating transformation initiatives focused on responsible innovation, resilient operations, and hyper-personalized customer experiences. His appointment reflects Accenture’s continued emphasis on combining technological capabilities with deep industry knowledge to deliver impactful solutions for global clients.
Prior to this new role, Mark Sherwin served as EMEA Managing Director – Marketing, Commerce, Sales and Service Reinvention at Accenture Song, where he played a key role in doubling the Growth Services Business to over $1 billion in under two years. He led senior client engagements across sectors and helped shape Accenture’s value proposition around AI and life-centric innovation.
Earlier, he served as Chief Client and Growth Officer – UK, Ireland & Africa, where he was instrumental in doubling annual sales to $1.5 billion. His tenure also saw the successful integration of high-value acquisitions into Accenture’s cohesive growth framework. Before this, he was Managing Director – Digital Customer Services, where he led efforts to unify the customer lifecycle narrative, embedding service as a core element of Accenture Interactive’s global offerings.
Sherwin also made significant contributions as Managing Director – Energy and Natural Resources, where he spearheaded global innovation for Accenture’s largest energy client, achieving 300% growth in customer engagement and digital solutions. His earlier leadership roles included pioneering efforts in customer experience, sales, and digital strategy within Precedent, where he played a pivotal role in scaling the business from a start-up to a global consultancy with 150 employees and seven international offices.
Alongside his corporate achievements, Sherwin is Honorary Senior Visiting Fellow at Bayes Business School, where he mentors MBA students on digital innovation, emerging technologies, and business growth. He has also led the Digital Route Panel for the UK’s Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education, shaping national standards for digital education and workforce readiness.
