Morrisville, North Carolina, United States, August 2025 – Mary Pater has been elevated to Chief People Officer at Affordable Care, where she will lead the company’s overall people strategy, talent development initiatives, and organizational culture, ensuring alignment with Affordable Care’s mission of transforming patient lives through innovative dental solutions.
Mary has been with Affordable Care for over a year, initially serving as Vice President, Talent. In this role, she focused on building robust talent pipelines, enhancing recruitment strategies, and strengthening leadership development programs to support the company’s nationwide network of practices.
In addition to her corporate career, Mary has been the Principal of Judybird Productions and N-tellect for more than 13 years. Through her consultancy work, she has provided talent strategy, leadership coaching, and organizational effectiveness solutions to a diverse range of clients.
Previously, Mary spent over eight years at Luxottica Retail as Director of Talent Management, where she was instrumental in designing talent management systems, succession planning frameworks, and leadership programs that supported the company’s growth across its retail brands.
Mary’s earlier career includes over a decade in Human Resources and Operations at Parisian, where she gained foundational experience in people management, operational excellence, and customer-focused service delivery.
