Atlanta, Georgia, United States, March 2025 – Michael Mills has been named Vice President Human Resources at Scientific Research Corporation (SRC), a leading provider of engineering solutions for the U.S. Government, private industry, and global markets. In his new capacity, Michael will lead the strategic direction of SRC’s human capital initiatives, aligning HR operations with organizational objectives across the company’s nationwide footprint.
Prior to joining SRC, Michael was Sr. Director, Human Resources at Charles River Laboratories, where he spent over two years driving key talent strategies and organizational effectiveness programs across the Atlanta metropolitan area. His leadership focused on global HR operations, employee engagement, and strategic workforce development.

Before that, he held the role of Global Human Resources Director at SWM International, where he spearheaded enterprise-wide HR transformation efforts for over a year. He was responsible for global people operations, aligning HR frameworks with business growth and compliance needs across multiple regions.
Earlier in his career, Michael held progressive leadership roles at L3Harris Technologies and Harris Corporation for over a decade. He served as Director, HR Business Partner, Director of Human Resources, and Director of Corporate University Relations, playing a pivotal role in building robust HR infrastructures, enhancing talent pipelines, and elevating workforce planning capabilities.
Michael’s career foundation was laid with experiences at Lockheed Martin and the United States Air Force, where he built core competencies in HR management, operational leadership, and strategic HR partnerships in high-stakes environments.
