Mike Jones has been a valuable member of the UCLA Health team for over four years, during which he has played a pivotal role in enhancing HR operations. Before his recent promotion, he served as Senior Director of HR Operations & HR Service Center since March 2020. In this role, Jones led initiatives that streamlined service delivery, including the implementation of ServiceNow HRSD, which revolutionized leave of absence, disability management, and benefits administration processes.
Previous Experience:
Prior to his tenure at UCLA Health, Jones held significant positions at Harley-Davidson Motor Company as Global Director of HR Technology, HR Service Center, and Payroll. From April 2016 to March 2020, he was instrumental in leading global HR service operations in a complex manufacturing environment and played a key role in developing a global payroll strategy that enhanced governance and customer satisfaction.
Before Harley-Davidson, Jones served as Director of Human Resources Business Partner at Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems, where he was responsible for human capital strategy and advanced analytics to support business outcomes. His leadership in HR included major projects that improved organizational performance and employee engagement across various divisions.
In earlier phases of his career, Mike Jones made significant contributions in HR and IT service center operations, including roles at Northrop Grumman and TRW Space Technology. His efforts in these positions focused on establishing robust service centers, developing HR strategies, and leading diverse teams to achieve business and HR objectives.
