Gurugram, Haryana, India, August 2025 — Mukesh Singla has been appointed as Chief Finance Officer (CFO) of Zypp Electric, a rapidly expanding EV-as-a-service platform headquartered in Gurugram. As Zypp scales its electric mobility ecosystem—currently powering over 20,000 vehicles across India’s major cities—Singla’s strategic financial leadership will play a pivotal role in accelerating growth and reinforcing Zypp’s position in the sustainable urban logistics space.
Bringing over two decades of leadership in finance, Singla joined Zypp in March 2025 as CFO and Strategic Advisor, quickly becoming integral to its growth trajectory. Previously, at Airtel Africa, he led financial strategy for Airtel Money across 14 African countries, managing a unit with an annualised turnover of approximately US $1 billion and robust EBITDA margins exceeding 50%. His experience also includes serving as CFO of Airtel Zambia Plc, where he oversaw the financial operations of a US $500 million business with >60 percent market share, driving cost management, automation, treasury, and team development.
Earlier, Singla spent nearly 15 years with Bharti Airtel, holding various critical roles—Group Financial Controller for the Network Centre of Excellence, CFO for DTH and Media, and Regional Finance Head – North Telecom—where he managed large P&Ls, spearheaded financial planning, led strategic cost efficiency initiatives, and supported landmark infrastructure monetization efforts. His career roots trace back to roles in Idea Cellular, where he helped implement Oracle ERP and business planning tools, and at Gates Corporation, where he managed accounting operations during its formative years in India.
In his capacity as CFO, Mukesh will drive financial stewardship, capital efficiency, and strategic foresight, aligning Zypp’s operations with its ambitious mission to electrify last-mile logistics and enable zero-emission urban delivery.
