Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, November 2025 — Murali Dakshinamoorthy has been appointed as Senior Director & Head – Human Resources, APAC at Pomeroy, reflecting his remarkable journey of over two decades in strategic human resource leadership across technology, telecom, and services sectors. In this expanded regional role, Murali will oversee HR strategy, operations, and transformation initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region, reinforcing Pomeroy’s commitment to a high-performance and people-first culture.
Murali has been with Pomeroy since 2024, where he played a pivotal role as Director & Head of Human Resources in setting up and operationalizing Pomeroy’s India entity. He successfully established the India HR operations framework for a 100% remote workforce, covering the full employee lifecycle through technology platforms. He also led the integration of newly acquired entities, ensured end-to-end statutory and regulatory compliance, and built a scalable hiring ecosystem aligned with business growth.
Before joining Pomeroy, Murali served as Senior Consultant at Workforte India LLP, specializing in leadership hiring and coaching, helping clients strengthen their leadership pipelines and improve organizational effectiveness. He also held a concurrent role as Head of Human Resources at GI Tech I Game India Private Limited, where he focused on HR automation, performance management, and talent development to drive high performance and people engagement.
Previously, Murali served as Human Resources Director at CBTS, where he was part of the core task force responsible for building the HR function from the ground up. He designed the HR framework and policies encompassing the entire employee lifecycle, established a robust talent acquisition model that scaled the workforce to over 350 employees, and played a key role in governance, risk, and compliance. His initiatives in digital learning, retention strategy, and business alignment significantly contributed to organizational stability and growth.
Earlier in his career, Murali worked with Jio as Area Head Human Resources, where he was instrumental in ramping up a large-scale sales and engineering team across Tamil Nadu, developing employee forums, and designing the company’s “Blue Book” orientation for new employees. His earlier tenures at Verizon, The People Network, and Real Image Media Technologies further honed his expertise in talent acquisition, engagement, learning design, and HR automation, while his foundational experiences at DSQ Software provided him with strong grounding in HR operations and compliance.
Throughout his career, Murali has been recognized for his strategic thinking, people-centric leadership, and ability to align HR frameworks with business imperatives, making him a trusted advisor and culture architect across global organizations.
