Hyderabad, Telangana, India, December 2024 – Naveen Gullapalli has been named the Managing Director at Amgen India, where he will lead the Amgen India Technology and Innovation Centre based in Hyderabad. Naveen’s role will focus on advancing innovation and technology solutions to enhance patient care globally, driving the integration of biotechnology and digital technologies in areas such as artificial intelligence, data science, and life sciences.
Bringing over two decades of leadership experience, Naveen joins Amgen from Novartis, where he held various roles, including Global Head, Global Business Solutions (GBS) & Corporate Centers. At Novartis, he managed operations spanning six global locations with over 12,000 associates. Previously, as Global Head of Novartis Business Services Innovation (NBS X), he spearheaded transformative digital initiatives across HR, IT, and procurement services, enabling enterprise-wide innovation and efficiency.
Earlier in his career, Naveen served as Senior Vice President at Thomson Reuters, establishing and scaling its Global Order Management Centre in Bangalore, a pivotal operation supporting over $8 billion in global revenue. Before that, he held leadership positions at Tech Mahindra and PwC, gaining extensive expertise in finance, service delivery, and digital transformation.
