Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, May 2025 — Nivedita Balgi has stepped into the role of Director – Work & Rewards at WTW, bringing with her over 13 years of robust experience in human capital advisory, total rewards, and transformation consulting. Based in Mumbai, she will focus on driving strategic initiatives across compensation design, rewards structuring, employee experience, and workforce optimization for WTW’s clients in India and the broader APAC region.
Before joining WTW, Nivedita spent more than a decade at Mercer India, where she steadily rose through the ranks. Most recently, she served as Director – Talent and Transformation Consulting, a role in which she led large-scale advisory projects focused on competency frameworks, employee engagement, talent assessments, and organizational development. Her prior positions at Mercer included Associate Director, Project Manager, and Senior Consultant, showcasing her versatility across a spectrum of HR consulting domains.
Earlier in her career, she also served as an Analyst at Mercer India, where she contributed to foundational projects in workforce structuring and behavioral modeling. Across all these roles, Nivedita demonstrated a deep understanding of the intersection between workforce behavior and organizational performance, making her a sought-after expert in the industry.
With her appointment, WTW strengthens its leadership team in India at a time when organizations are navigating increasing complexities in employee expectations, performance management, and compensation strategy.
