Singapore, September 2025 — AIA Singapore has announced the appointment of Owen Addison as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In his new role, Addison will lead the company’s people strategy, overseeing talent management, organizational development, and HR transformation initiatives to strengthen AIA Singapore’s mission of helping people live healthier, longer, and better lives.
Addison has been with AIA for nearly nine years, most recently serving as Director of Human Resources in Hong Kong. In this capacity, he led strategic HR initiatives and drove employee engagement across the region. Before that, he was Director of Human Resources Planning, where he contributed to workforce planning and organizational design to support long-term business growth.
Earlier in his tenure at AIA, Addison served as Director of Executive Compensation and Equity and Associate Director in the same function, where he managed compensation frameworks, equity programs, and executive remuneration strategies.
Prior to joining AIA, Addison built a strong foundation during more than a decade at PwC in London, where he rose to the role of Senior Manager. He specialized in people consulting, organizational strategy, and HR effectiveness, working with clients across industries. His early career began as an Analyst at Goldman Sachs, where he gained experience in financial analysis and talent-related projects in New York and London.
