In this leadership role, she will spearhead talent strategy, lead organizational transformation, and embed progressive, future-ready HR practices across the company’s global footprint.
Pooja brings over 20 years of distinguished experience in human resources, most recently serving as Executive Vice President & CHRO at Piaggio Vehicles Pvt. Ltd., where she led large-scale organizational change initiatives, talent development strategies, and digital HR transformations that significantly elevated employee engagement and productivity.
Prior to that, she served in multiple leadership roles at Piaggio Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. over a 16-year tenure, including Senior Vice President & CHRO, Vice President & Head HR, Associate Vice President – Head Business Partner, and General Manager – Corporate HR. Her journey at Piaggio was marked by award-winning initiatives in talent development, learning innovation, DEI, and organizational design.
Pooja has also held leadership positions at Burckhardt Compression AG and Microverse Automation, where she managed broad generalist HR portfolios, further enriching her cross-sectoral HR expertise.
She is an alumna of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program, the CHRO Program by Wharton Executive Education, and holds an MBA in Human Resources from the Institute for Technology & Management. Her educational and leadership accomplishments have positioned her as a prominent voice in global HR circles, frequently featured in prestigious industry publications and forums.
