Gurugram, Haryana, India, April 2025 – Priyanka Sharma has been promoted to Vice President – HRBP Leader, Talent Management, Leadership and Organisation Development at Niva Bupa Health Insurance. In her new role, Priyanka will be spearheading the talent strategy agenda with a focus on business partnership, capability building, leadership development, and organization-wide engagement and well-being initiatives.

Over the past three and a half years, Priyanka has played an instrumental role in shaping the people and culture strategy at Niva Bupa Health Insurance, initially as Deputy Vice President – Talent Management & OD, followed by her elevation to Vice President – Talent Management, Leadership and OD. She led critical initiatives like talent pipelining, embedding leadership behaviours in people processes, driving pan-India employee engagement, and building the organization’s well-being framework.

Before joining Niva Bupa, Priyanka had a successful stint at Schneider Electric for over six years. Her roles included Global Talent Partner & Senior HRBP, where she developed succession strategies for the global procurement function, and HRBP for Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, along with her tenure as Associate General Manager – Talent Management & OD. She designed and executed top talent development journeys, succession pipelines, and executive coaching initiatives.

Earlier, she was with Amway India, where she led People Development and executed global learning projects, including the launch of an internal learning university and mentoring programs. Priyanka also held HR leadership roles at Right Management, where she delivered organization-wide transformation initiatives in talent assessment, employee engagement, and change management.
