Delhi, India, September 2024 – Purva Misra has been appointed as the Chief People Officer at NDTV. In this new role, Purva will lead the human resources function and drive people-centric strategies to support the company’s continued growth and transformation.
Purva Misra brings extensive experience in human resources to her new role. She recently served as the Chief HR Officer at India Today Group and also held the position of COO of India Today Media Institute for approximately 11 years. Her tenure at India Today Group allowed her to influence HR strategies across TV, digital, print, radio, social media, and education sectors.
Prior to her role at India Today, Purva was the Senior Vice President of HR at MakeMyTrip for nearly 2 years. Her responsibilities there included overseeing HR strategies and initiatives for the company’s operations in India.
Earlier in her career, Purva was the Director HR at Max Healthcare for about 1 year. Her role encompassed managing HR functions for Max Healthcare and its clinical research organization, Max Neeman International.
Additionally, Purva spent over 13 years at Hewitt Associates LLC in various leadership roles, including HR Director for Asia-Pacific and Head HR for India & Middle East. Her long tenure at Hewitt Associates allowed her to develop expertise in managing HR across multiple regions.
