Rahul Murgai elevated to Executive Vice President at Havells India Ltd

New Delhi, , India, April 2025 — Rahul Murgai has been elevated to the position of Executive Vice President at Havells India Ltd, continuing his impactful journey within the organization. Prior to this role, he served as Global Senior Vice President – International Business Division, where he played a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, P&L delivery, and business expansion across diverse product categories including consumer durables, cables and wires, switch gears, small domestic appliances, grooming products, and more. His leadership extended to key functions such as business development, mergers and acquisitions, digital transformation, and global supply chain optimization.

Since joining Havells in 2022, Rahul has led the international expansion of the business across the US, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, SAARC, Russia CIS, LATAM, and APAC regions. He was responsible for overseeing all product verticals under Havells and Lloyd’s SBUs and driving performance in global markets. His strategic focus on localized investments and partnerships has significantly contributed to the company’s international growth trajectory.

Before Havells, Rahul served as President (Home Appliances Division) at IFB Industries Ltd, where he was responsible for pan-India operations across sales, marketing, and product categories. His contributions included scaling up category verticals like washing machines, dishwashers, and modular kitchens, and optimizing retail and commercial branch functions for enhanced operational efficiency.

Rahul spent over a decade at Reckitt, where he held multiple senior leadership roles, including Managing Director – African Continent and Managing Director – West Africa. He led large-scale operations across Africa, introduced category-transforming innovations, built purpose-led partnerships in health and hygiene, and drove double-digit growth through digital transformation, supply chain advancements, and modern trade excellence across multiple countries. His leadership in West Africa and the Africa continent elevated regional performance and sustainability initiatives, establishing him as a transformative force.

Earlier in his career, Rahul held leadership positions at The Coca-Cola Company, PepsiCo, GE Capital, and Bharti Airtel. His contributions spanned strategy, sales, marketing, key account management, and business transformation across geographies including India and China. His tenure at these global giants gave him a deep understanding of customer-centric execution, brand innovation, and high-performance leadership.
