New Delhi, India, August 2025 — Rajesh C has been appointed Head of Finance at BharatPe, where he will oversee finance, treasury, and taxation functions as the company embarks on its next phase of growth. His appointment comes at a crucial juncture for BharatPe, which recently achieved profitability in FY25 and is gearing up for a pre-IPO funding round. With more than two decades of experience, Rajesh is expected to play a pivotal role in shaping BharatPe’s financial strategy and ensuring long-term value creation.
Prior to this, Rajesh C spent over fifteen years at SBI Card, where he rose to the role of Senior Vice President – Finance (Head FP&A). During his tenure, he was instrumental in leading financial planning and analysis, strategic budgeting, and regulatory reporting. Most notably, he was part of the core team that managed the landmark SBI Card IPO, which marked a milestone in India’s financial services sector. His leadership contributed to strengthening financial governance and aligning strategic planning with business growth.
Before SBI Card, Rajesh served at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. as Manager, Financial Control Unit, where he was responsible for financial planning, regulatory compliance, and control functions. His role helped establish robust financial processes and strengthened governance frameworks in the banking environment.
