Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, March 2025 – Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) has announced the appointment of Rajneet Kohli as the new Executive Director, Foods, succeeding Shiva Krishnamurthy, who is moving on to pursue an external opportunity. In his new role, Rajneet will lead the Foods business across India, driving growth, innovation, and excellence in one of the company’s most strategic portfolios.
Rajneet joins HUL from Britannia Industries, where he served as CEO & Executive Director for over two and a half years. Under his leadership, Britannia accelerated its transformation journey into a global total foods company, significantly expanding its product categories, international presence, and digital capabilities. He oversaw a vast supply chain, managed an extensive distribution network, and played a pivotal role in shareholder value creation, growing Britannia’s market cap by over 50,000 crores in two years.

Prior to Britannia, Rajneet had a successful stint at Domino’s India (Jubilant FoodWorks) for over four years, initially as Executive Vice President & COO, and then as President & Chief Business Officer. He played a crucial role in positioning Domino’s as India’s largest QSR brand, pioneering digital innovation, and launching highly successful growth strategies that boosted revenues, improved profitability, and expanded store footprint to over 1,700 outlets.
Before Domino’s, he spent nearly 14 years with The Coca-Cola Company, where he held multiple leadership roles including Senior Vice President for North, West & Central India and Head of the Premium Products Division. During his tenure, he led operations across several geographies, launched new premium beverage categories, and delivered double-digit growth in revenue and profit.
Rajneet began his career with Asian Paints and RR Financial Consulting Ltd, gaining early experience in business development, sales, and operations. He also worked at Color Steels Inc., UK, managing international client accounts. His diverse background across FMCG, QSR, and beverages makes him exceptionally suited to lead the Foods division at HUL.
