Colombo, Western Province, Sri Lanka, December 2025 — Randika Kalugala has started a new position as Head of Human Resources at Bellagio Colombo. This elevation reflects his growing leadership influence within the organisation, building on his ongoing contributions to talent and people priorities in Sri Lanka’s hospitality and entertainment landscape.
In his expanded mandate, Randika Kalugala is expected to strengthen people strategy, talent systems, and employee experience while supporting the organisation’s service-led growth and operational excellence.
At Bellagio Colombo, Randika Kalugala has taken on the role of Head of Human Resources after serving as Head of Talent Management. Over roughly a year with the organisation, he has been closely involved in shaping talent and people initiatives aligned with business needs in Colombo, Western Province, Sri Lanka.
Before this, he served as Human Resources Manager at Pegasus Reef Hotel Sri Lanka for about two years. He also held an earlier stint with the same organisation as Assistant Manager Human Resources, gaining strong end-to-end hotel HR exposure in Colombo, Western Province, Sri Lanka.
He then worked briefly as Human Resources Manager at The Hayleys Group (Hayleys PLC) in Sri Lanka, adding cross-sector HR leadership experience beyond hospitality.
Earlier, Randika Kalugala spent over three years with Taj Hotels as Senior Executive Human Resources, handling core HR and employee relations responsibilities within a large, premium hospitality environment.
He also served as Senior Executive Human Resources at Centara Hotels & Resorts for about a year and previously worked as a Human Resources Executive for several years in Sri Lanka, which helped build his foundational strengths in HR operations and service-centric people practices.
Randika Kalugala holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management and Services from the University of Colombo.
