London Area, United Kingdom, February 2026 – Samantha Warnes has started a new position as Senior Director People Programs (Transformation & Strategy) at Cyncly, a global technology business supporting more than 70,000 customers across 100+ countries.
Joining at a pivotal stage in Cyncly’s growth journey, Samantha will work closely with senior leadership to lead enterprise-wide people transformation initiatives. In her new role, she supports the Chief People & Culture Officer as Chief of Staff and enterprise programme lead, driving transformation, M&A integration, governance, executive reporting, and AI-enabled augmentation across People processes.
Prior to joining Cyncly, Samantha spent over 12 years at OpenText, where she held several senior HR and transformation roles. Most recently, as Director HR Operations Shared Services EMEA, she stabilised and transformed a fragmented HR operations function supporting 5,300 employees across 26 countries. Under her leadership, service performance improved significantly, SLA metrics strengthened, and a roadmap for digital and AI-enabled transformation was established. She also led HR harmonisation programmes, large-scale restructuring initiatives, and multiple M&A integrations.
Earlier at OpenText, as HR Director, Works Council Relations & Organisational Effectiveness Programs & PMO for EMEA, she designed labour relations strategies across Europe and played a pivotal role in integrating a major acquisition that doubled workforce scale from 10,000 to 22,000 employees. She also led organisational effectiveness programmes, talent initiatives, and served as Chief of Staff to the SVP HR EMEA.
Samantha’s earlier career spans senior programme management, enterprise consulting, and leadership roles at organisations including Logica, Mercator, Programming Research, and founding her own consultancy ventures. Her background blends deep technical knowledge, transformation expertise, and strategic people leadership.
